Win-I2CUSBDLL (v5.x.x.x - Full Installation):
Win-I2CUSDLL v5  supports  Win-XP through Win-7 (32 bit and 64 bit installer options)
(Note: V5 does not support Windows(tm) operating systems prior to Win-XP).

Win-I2CUSBDLL (v4.2.0.0 Full Install- 2/17/2008):
Win-I2CUSBDLL v4.2 supports only 32-bit  Win-2k, XP, and Vista operating systems
Download Win-I2CUSBDLL_v4.2.0.0_installation.zip ~7.4M file),  extract and launch the executable file to install
the software.  We recommend first un-installing any previous versions of Win-I2CUSBDLL prior to installing
this version.

Win-I2CUSB v4.2 includes a built-in software update utility, but existing versions earlier than v3 will need to be
manually updated with the full v4 installation file above (uninstall Win-I2CUSBDLL v3.x prior to installing v4).
- Launch the Win-I2CUSB application and click <Help-About> to determine your current software and adapter firmware revisions
 (Live internet connection is required for the software update utility).   Current Win-I2CUSB update v4.2.1.0
- For manual installation, the Win-I2CUSB v4.2.1.0 application file (zip archive) can be downloaded here.

For Win-98SE, we recommend using the lebacy version Win-I2CUSBDLL v3.3 (non-Vista driver) if problems
are experienced running v4 with Win-98SE.  Install the software before connecting the Win-I2CUSB adapter
If  problems finding the driver during installation, point to the default location c:/Program Files/The Boardshop/Win-I2CUSB/USBDriver/

Win-I2CNT v5.0.1.2  supports  Win-9x through Win-XP, Vista, and Win-7 operating systems (32 and 64 bit installer options)
(Note: Win-I2CNT v5 maximum I2C bus speed is limited to ~80khz, dependent on PC system hardware).

Download the  Win-I2CNTv4.8.1 Installer   (~5.6MB Zip archive file)
Unzip the downloaded archive to recover the <Win-I2CNT Installation.exe> installer application.
Launch the installer file to install Win-I2CNT v4.8.1  (a previous Win-I2CNT installation is not required to install v4.8.1)

Note: Win-I2CNT (or I2C2002-1A kit) users are NOT licensed for Win-I2CNTDLL updates;  However, existing
Win-I2CNT licenses may be upgraded to DLL status for $99.00 USD fee (see online orderform for this option).

Please locate your original Win-I2CNTDLL installation CD before attempting to install any updates
Win-I2CNTDLL v5 Upgrade  requires a previously installed version of Win-I2CNTDLL v4.x.

The installer will issue a error message if a previous Win-I2CNTDLL v4.x  installation was not found.
This will require re-installing Win-I2CNTDLL v4.x from the original CD, or following  instructions below.

* Or, complete and email the Regfrmxx.txt file from the installation directory to sales@demoboard.com
Once we have confirmed your Win-I2CNTDLL serial number and registration information, you will receive a installation password
for the full previous Win-I2CNTDLL v4.2 version (Win-I2CNTDLL v4.2 or v4.74 installation is required for v5 upgrade).
First install the Win-I2CNTDLL v4.2 upgrade (password required), then install the Win-I2CNTDLL v4.7.4 update.

Win-I2CNTDLL Update (v4.7.4 Update : 5/10/2004)
Download the  Win-I2CNTDLL v4.7 Update  Requires previously installed Win-I2CNTDLL v4.2  (~1.3MB Zip archive file)
Unzip the downloaded archive to recover the <Win-I2CNTDLL Update.exe> installer application.
Launch the <Win-I2CNTDLL Update.exe> installer to update the previously installed Win-I2CNTDLL v4.2 to
v4.7.
Note: The installer will issue a "missing file" message and will not continue if a previous Win-I2CNTDLL v4.x
installation was not found.  This will require re-installing Win-I2CNTDLL v4.2 from the original CD.
New in the Win-I2CNTDLL v4.7 update:
- Updates the DLL examples and documentation to current version.
- Minor driver improvements.

Previous full Win-I2CNTDLL v4.2 Upgrade  Requires installation password  (~1.7 MB executable file)
Note:  This DLL upgrade installer supports Win-NT, 2000, or XP.
          Please email us if you need to install DLLv4.2 in the Win9x/ME environment.

We no longer offer the original Win-I2C kit, but the Win-I2C software is compatible
with the I2CPortv2.0 adapter  (included in the Win-I2CNT/Win-I2CNTDLL kits).
