I2C2005-1 is
a new I2C demonstration board kit that is available only from
NXP(Philips) Semiconductors:
I2C2005-1
kit - Link to NXP Semiconductors page
The I2C2005-1 kit
includes demo I2C software (Win-I2CUSB Lite), which has similar operation,
but reduced functionality compared
to the full Win-I2CUSB
software included in our Win-I2CUSBDLL kit.
Please note the Win-I2CUSB
Lite software developed for the NXP(Philips) I2C2005-1 evaluation
board is NOT directly compatible
with the USB hardware
adapter included with our Win-I2CUSBDLL
kit.
Conversely,
our Win-I2CUSBDLL kit software is NOT directly compatible with the I2C2005-1
evaluation board.
Note: The earlier
I2C2002-1A kit
is still available, but the I2C cable configuration must be modified to
connect this
board to the Win-I2CUSBDLL
kit.

Note:
For
customers who own a Win-I2CUSBDLL kit, the Win-I2CUSB/DLL software can
be used with the I2C2005-1
demonstration
board by removing the socketed microcontroller from their existing Win-I2CUSBDLL
kit adapter:
Win-I2CUSBDLL
kit adapter
and
replacing the socketed Microcontroller in the I2C2005-1 demonstration board
!!
(do not discard the 2005-1 board Microcontroller, since it is required
for compatibility to Win-I2CUSB Lite, if desired later) !!
